The Adventures of Kincaid

Love Furries? Get ready for the sexiest platformer you’ve seen in years. The Adventures of Kincaid is a sci-fi platformer featuring a naughty wolf woman who just loves boinking just about everyone she meets. She’s so into naughty things that sometimes she forgets what she’s really supposed to be doing. Kincaid is supposed to be an archeologist, exploring ancient ruins on different planets. I’m a sucker for good pixel art, and The Adventures of Kincaid’s art really caught my eye. The world’s are imaginative, Kincaid is very cute, and there’s a whole host of flora and fauna for Kincaid to ‘sexplore’ that are really innovative.

The Story

Kincaid is an archaeologist with the explorers guild. It’s her job to survey new planets and see what each one has to offer. Kincaid is assigned to a particularly strong signal coming from a jungle planet, and lands there to explore it and try to figure out where the signal is coming from.

This is the major premise behind how Kincaid came to be on a lusty planet and why she’s exploring everything the planet has to offer.

Plenty of Animated Scenes

Kincaid is a naughty wolf, and she loves to play with all the flora and fauna she discovers. These scenes have a hand drawn appearance rather than the pixel game play, and offer a variety of exciting animations. The developers have also thoughtfully provided a gallery so favorite animations can be revisited again and again. This gallery is also nicely blended into the game as Kincaid’s “notes” about the planet.

You get scenes at several specific moments in the game. If you lose all your health, you get treated to a scene of Kincaid and that particular monster. (Four different kinds at this time.) If Kincaid becomes stunned but not killed, the monsters will also grope her. If you fail to extract her after she’s unstunned, she’ll forget they’re enemies and start having sex with them.

Art is Beautifully Done

The art itself is beautiful. The game itself is done in a pixel style, and features vibrant colors that fit the jungle theme of the planet Kincaid is exploring. The loss scenes are beautiful and features a number of different poses that are incredibly sexy. They’re almost good enough to make you want to lose on purpose. If you enjoyed Love at First Tail, an erotic visual novel furry tale, the artwork for the loss scenes are similar, although overall The Adventures of Kincaid is a pixel based game.

Double Jump Somewhat Tricky

Once you get a little bit into the game, Kincaid gets access to a double jump. This lets you jump again in midair, greatly amplifying your reach. With that ability things get tricky though. It’s not so easy to perfectly time that jump so you land where you want to land.

Although it can be tricky, mastering the double jump is worth the effort. Just don’t try speed running the game, or you might end up falling instead of making the jump. Missing jumps can be very frustrating, and you might be tempted to give up.

The trick is to not try and speed run the game. Take a moment when clinging to the side of the walls to plan your jump, and things will generally go much smoother for you. Rushing is what causes failed jumps most often, so try for a poised jump and not just flinging yourself into the abyss and hoping for the best.

Not Purely a Sex Game

Although Kincaid clearly loves her sex, the game has a lot of playable action too. It has your typical side scroller stuff, such as a number of traps, difficult patches to navigate, and items to acquire. As you move on, the game gets more and more difficult to navigate. If you enjoy side scrollers, this game has a lot to offer you.

Still Being Updated

There are some rumors out there that The Adventures of Kincaid has been sidelined, but these are just rumors. The game is still in Alpha, but has been updated regularly, including this year. The last known update was the end of June, which is an encouraging sign of progress. Keep in mind, there’s just two people working on the game, so it may take a while for this game to be complete! The Adventures of Kincaid is one of my favorite Metroidvania style furry games. It features a beautiful, imaginative world, a sexy main character, and plenty of monsters to either kill or get to know better. Kincaid never seems to be sure which.

The Adventures of Kincaid is a 2D erotic pixelated side-scrolling platformer in a sci-fi setting. Players will try themselves as an anthropomorphic vixen named Kincaid, who explores new planets in space. With her always in touch with artificial intelligence, which records in the encyclopedia of new species of alien creatures discovered by her. But not all aliens are friendly, and most of them are eager to stick their dicks and tentacles in all the holes of the protagonist. Especially dangerous bosses, which you are unlikely to defeat from the first time, as it is important to know their battle tactics. It is good that she has an arsenal of more than 30 types of staffs, which she masterfully wields.
