Sage's Cravings

I love that we get more and more lewd shooters these days and Sage's Cravings is another one that I think is well worth playing. I put quite a bit of time into the game and told a buddy about it and he then informed me that this was actually a lewd parody of another game. I was completely ignorant to that, but I still managed to have fun with the whole thing and I never once felt all that lost. I am sure if you are a fan of the series that this is a parody of, you will get even more out of it than I did. Although sometimes these lewd parodies can offend hardcore fans so that is something to consider.

A Real Valorant Kind Of Hero

I am sure that you are not as ignorant as I am, but let me give you a heads-up in case you are not aware of what Sage's Cravings is a parody of. Valorant is a free-to-play shooter that I really cannot speak of as I have never actually played it. I have a friend who says it is great and that I should try it, but I play too many other online shooters to add another one to the mix. Anyway, as I said, I knew nothing about Valorant and I managed to follow on for the most part more than well enough.

That Is A Lot Of Work For A Meal

I am sure if I was knowledgeable about the world of Valorant and these characters that I would have gotten a way bigger kick out of the story of Sage's Cravings. What is going on here is that we are Yoru and we have a thing for a hottie called Sage and the way to her heart is with soup and a sandwich! Now, the thing is, our kitchen is under attack so we need to fight off these evil… whatever the hell they are things and make a nice spot so that we can make our dream woman the soup and sandwich that she deserves. Hey, even though I am not familiar with the characters, I still got a massive kick out of the absurdity of the story here.

Cute Little Robots

Ok, so I have no idea if these are just standard robots or what, but Sage's Cravings has us situated at the bottom of the screen and we basically need to shoot these robots that pop up. Think of something like the arcade classic Area 51 and you will have a good idea what I am talking about here. The cursor does move at a pretty quick pace so I always felt like I had a fair chance to blast the robots as they appeared. However, they are really hard to hit when they are at the edge of the screen. Granted, this could be my lack of skills, but I had no trouble shooting them anywhere else apart from the bottom of the screen. As you progress, you can buy more and better weapons with the money that you earn.

Sage, I Would Like To Get To Know You More

If you have made it this far it should go without saying that what I know about Valorant and of course, Sage, you could write on the back of a postage stamp. However, Sage's Cravings did click with me right away as Sage is a super hot character. I have a thing for sci-fi chicks and Sage is one hot sci-fi chick! The game has a rather basic art style when the shooting is going down and I thought the robots were more adorable than threatening. However, there is just something charming about this game that I liked. Oh, there may not be a ton of lewd content here, but what is here is pretty awesome.

Pros:

• I got a real kick out of the story
• The writing has some charm to it
• Sage sure is hot
• The arcade style gameplay was something that I had a lot of fun with

Cons:

• I am not sure why it was so hard to shoot enemies at the edge of the screen
• The build of the game I played did not have a great deal of content
