Part-Time Witch

Not only is Part-Time Witch a lot of fun, but this was way more challenging than I thought it would be! This is a lewd puzzle, actually, I think I would maybe go as far as to say that this is more of a cooking game than a puzzle game! I got hooked on this and can see myself coming back to try and do better every now and again. I am sure more content is going to be added so that gives me another reason to come back and see this big-boobed potion brewing witch.

First Day On The Job

There is not a ton of story going on in Part-Time Witch, but what is here is a lot of fun. We play the role of a young witch called Jessica and Jessica has a new job where she has to brew a lot of different potions. That is all we really have for the story, you do have an “email” in the game that you can read, but it is never all that deep. To be fair, I would put this in the same category as stuff like the awesome Coconut Shake, lewd games that have a fun premise that more than gets the job done, but they do not exactly have a ton of story going on.

Now That Is Alchemy

The gameplay is very similar to something like Overcooked. You are given a “recipe” and the goal of Part-Time Witch is to make that potion before the time runs out. Making potions is a multi-step process. You need to grab the right ingredients, but you also need to mix them and then transport them, only once you have done all that is an order complete. This sounds easy, but the game does not give you much time to grab the ingredients and put them in the cauldron. Also, it is very easy to forget what each potion needs so you may need to frequently pull up the spell/potion book which is handy, but it eats into your time! This may sound like simple stuff, but this is way more challenging than you would think. There are also coins that you earn as you play which are used to help you progress through the game and get more stuff too.

A Quirky Sense Of Humor

The whole vibe of Part-Time Witch is something that I got a huge kick out of. This is a game that has a very quirky vibe and a sense of humor about it. The best example I can give you of this is the potions that you make. Futus, Analus, and Boobus are just some of the potions that you will be making. The emails that you get have a bit of a sense of humor to them as well. It is not laugh out loud funny, but it is sure to make you smile the whole time you are playing the game.

Pixel Potions Causing Chaos!

The pixel art style that they have gone for here is very charming and honestly charming is the best way to describe the entire game Jessice is so freaking cute and the way her big boobs bounce as she gets excited and her clothes start coming off is so awesome. You are basically working towards the big sex CG that sees her potions get out of control and start having tentacles banging her, granted tentacle porn games are not usually my cup of tea, but there was just something about the way it was presented here that I got a huge kick out of. I will say that the text in the game is very small, I did have a hard time reading it, but to be fair, that could be my old ass eyes!

Pros:

• I liked the premise of the game
• The pixel art has a ton of charm to it
• Making the potions is fun, but also very challenging
• I love the whole old-school arcade feel that the game has

Cons:

• It can be a bit daunting at first with how quickly the potion timers go down.
• I am not the biggest fan of tentacle stuff
