Happy Heart Panic

I have played through Happy Heart Panic several times now and this game just does not get old! This is one of the best lewd beat-em-ups ever made and I actually think I have enjoyed it and appreciated it more each time that I have come back and played it. The game looks fantastic with some absolutely awesome lewd pixel art. However, it is the gameplay which is far deeper than you may be expecting that is going to make this a game you want to play through over and over again.

Two Badass Chicks

Forget the tough guys from Bad Dudes Vs. DragonNinja, those meatheads have nothing on Sam the Protector and Wispy the Fox! Look, the inspiration for Happy Heart Panic is clearly the classic arcade brawlers of the past like Renegade and Double Dragon so do not go expecting a great deal of story here. The basics are that there is this very bad person who wants to do very bad things and it is up to these two kickass chicks to put this baddie back in their place and stop this trouble from getting any worse. I have to be honest, the story is basic, but I got a real kick out of it!

Bad As You Wanna Be

One of the things that is really cool about Happy Heart Panic is that we not only have two playable characters in Sam the Protector and Wispy the Fox, but you can switch between the characters whenever you want. Now this is not just cool because they have different moves. What makes this so awesome is that they actually made sure that each character has their own XXX scenes. The same enemy will not just do the same XXX animation with these characters, it will change depending on the character you are. I thought this was a very nice touch and it makes you want to play as both characters even more.

More Than What I Was Expecting

I did just mention how both Sam and Wispy have their own XXX animations, but that is just the tip of the iceberg as far as the presentation of Happy Heart Panic goes! This is a game that has some very nice pixel art, but you may be shocked when you get into the nitty-gritty of it and realize just how extreme the lewd content in the game is! There are some very niche fetishes here and I honestly do not even want to put into words what some of them are. Hey, it is nothing that is not perfectly legal between two consenting adults, but you may be surprised at just how lewd this game gets. I do also want to say that it is awesome how different Sam and Wispy are, one being a thick chick and the other fulfilling any furry fantasies you may have.

Hit Hard, Hit Fast

Happy Heart Panic is a brawler that is all on a single plane, so it is not something like Streets of Rage, it is more like The Ninja Warriors. Each character has their own attacks and the combat feels nice and meaty and it is more challenging than you would think, but not to the point where it becomes frustrating. As well as the cannon fodder enemies you come across, there are some pretty challenging boss fights too. There are also rooms where you can buy items which can make your adventure a bit easier on you and also more fun. Each time I have come back to this, I am more and more surprised and impressed by the depth that the game offers as far as the gameplay goes.

Pros:

• I liked how different the two playable characters were
• The game offers a good and fun challenge
• There are some very extreme fetishes here that truly did surprise me!
• Overall, this is one of the best lewd beat-em-ups ever made!

Cons:

• I may not have been into some of the fetish stuff, mommy and diaper, I am looking at you!
• This is a game that needs a sequel!
